We just got word that my husband's uncle has broken several vertebrae in his neck and between his shoulders. We are heading to the trauma center now.
I will NOT be available on email tomorrow morning, but will in the afternoon.

Last promo for some time - LOGO DESIGN
Okay, so I decided to do one last promo, but a bit of a different one. As you all know, I am going to be taking a brief break (see post below) in a week or two. I am running a promo that will enable me to have a few clients lined out for when I return. I can't come back with nothing to do, right?! (Which sounds odd since I am always slammed!)
The first THREE people to email me mentioning this promo will receive $100 off logo design AND a voucher for 2 FREE sets of templates from me. Yes! Easy as pie.

How this works:
After I receive your emails, I will email you back letting you know if you placed within the three people that will receive this offer. I will need your PayPal email addresses and will send the invoice to you. I will also need to know the 2 sets of templates you would like to receive for free. Receipt of payment will place you on the "When Jodi Returns" list, and templates will not be set to you until logo payment is received. You understand that your spot for logo design is only reserved with payment, and if payment is not received, that your place will be given to someone else.
When I return from my break, I will begin on your logo concepts, and will work on them in the order I receive payments. I will be taking a 2 week break in approximately 2 weeks, so this means I will be beginning on your logo in approximately 4 weeks, possibly sooner.

Much needed hiatus
Well folks, after much thought I have decided to take a little breather. These last few months have been some of the busiest (and most trying!) of my career. I am finishing up all of the open projects I currently have, so if you are a client, no fear as I am working diligently on completing everything and getting your concepts, goods, etc. sent out.
I will be off likely only 2 weeks (don't quote me on that - ha) but will be sure to post when my return will be. Because of this, I am not accepting any new clients at this time. I will start taking on new projects upon my return.
Taking care of family is very important to me, as is my career, so finding the elusive balance between the two is something I am hoping will come out of this. (That, and I am trying to respark my creative mojo - better for my clients!)
So this is NOT a "goodbye forever" post - not at all! Just a "man, I need a break" and "I am actually looking forward to watching Dora and Backyardigans for two weeks" post. :grin:
I will still email templates out while being off, so feel free to continue purchasing them! (And likely will be posting to the blog while gone as well) And lastly, hoping to finish the new website (and cactus!), so that will be launched in the coming weeks as well.
